![]() The match and standoff building system are both random, so the rewards will be diverse for players to start new debuts for themselves. Players’ wrestling careers will be continuously promoted by participating in shows or matches arranged by Wrestling Empire. However, the character’s stats and performance will be diverse and constantly changing to make gameplay and player experience more realistic. Each element, content, and body stats are freely editable through its slide bars, giving players plenty of freedom to design any abomination or weird character. CREATE YOUR DESIRED WRESTLERĮvery player entering this career must design the desired wrestling model through a versatile character customization system. Besides, the arenas have funny designs and diverse sizes so that each wrestling fight can take place with a large number of wrestlers at once for an atmosphere. All elements or mechanisms are also integrated and seamless for players to be more creative and flexible when using any movement. Wrestling is a widely loved sport, and Wrestling Empire emulates it in every detail in its refined and polished gameplay. Not only experience the sport of wrestling, but players can also create their own company and business to develop themselves and enjoy all the flourishes. Moreover, its simple and vivid 3D graphics use perfectly optimized engines to provide the smoothest and most fluid action. I mean, Jesus, THQ can't even get the damn AI to work right.Wrestling Empire is an entertaining wrestling arena simulator, but there are many elements of tension and complexity for players to understand this sport better. It's like No Mercy- the graphics aren't pretty, but the gameplay is beyond solid (and No Mercy still pwns SvR in every way as well). If I could get Wrestling Encore on my XBox 360 and play it online, I wouldn't even bother buying SvR anymore. Not the $60 you pay to get what's barely passable as an upgrade every year. Sounds like you downloaded the demo, played one match and decided against it without even giving it a fair shake.Īnd on top of it all, it's $15. I'm sorry, but I don't get your side of the argument at all. It's not flashy, but you can do damn near anything in it, and when you do it, it matters you don't have to hit a finisher to win the game 80% of the time, and the weapons are actually usable. Sorry, but aside from some slight refinement in movement (which is brought on from having motion capture studios at their disposal and which is cosmetic at best) and better graphics, SvR fails in every way compared to Wrestling Encore. Whereas with SvR you're limited to 6 characters onscreen and, as good as they look, you can slam them onto a ladder or chair or whatever and do absolutely no damage whatsoever, and the most blood you're going to get out of them is a splatter on their face. But whereas THQ has to focus every f**king year on trying to make the wrestlers so f**king photorealistic instead of on the actual goddamn game, MDickie has crafted a game that has a better season mode, lets you customize absolutely everyone in the game and play with them in that season mode, and allows as many wrestlers onscreen at once as you could want. And yeah, it's not as refined as Smackdown. any WCW or Backyard Wrestling game, and it runs circles around Legends of Wrestling III (though I didn't play I or II so I won't claim that). The game is far superior to most of the crap foisted on the wrestling public, i.e. ![]() You do realize that there's a speed control in the options menu?Īnd I didn't say it did, but that's just it- it isn't worse. with choppy i meant that the grapples were slow and reversals were slow.and i know one man made the game, but that doesnt stop it from being worse than games made by a big company I know i know.but i just couldnt stand it.
